It's four o'clock, the port is waking up. The still asleep sailors load the boxes of bait and provisions, check the ropes, adjust their instruments and oil the trawl winches. Everyone works on their own, part of a well-oiled machine. They are getting ready because the day is near, a sea trip is looming and soon it will be time to set sail to brave the ocean, whatever the conditions. So if you're early, put on your Josettes and go admire the departure (otherwise, you can always wait for them on your return).
