Once upon a time, there was a little boy named Malo, who had one tiny flaw: he loved to brag. No matter what he did, Malo always found a way to proclaim himself the best. When he ate a yogurt, he would say to his friends, "Did you see that? I'm the fastest at finishing my snack, no one can beat me!" One day, Malo received a new bike for his birthday. As soon as he got on it, he pedaled like a maniac down the street, shouting, "Look at me, I'm the best cyclist in the universe!" His friends rolled their eyes, but Malo didn't care. He was convinced he was exceptional.
One morning, while he was looking in the mirror, something strange happened. His hair stood on end, a blue mask appeared over his eyes, and a large, bright yellow "C" appeared on his T-shirt. "But... What the...?" he stammered. Now he'd become Super-Show-Off!
From that day on, every time he bragged, his power grew. "Look at me jumping over this puddle, no one jumps as high and far as I do!" he would say, and he'd take a huge leap. His friends were tired of hearing him brag all the time. Even his cat had had enough and refused to come near him when Malo said, "No one is as good as me at petting animals!"
One day during recess, Malo called out to his friends, "I bet no one can climb that tree faster than me!" He climbed up without hesitation. A branch snapped, and Malo found himself stuck halfway up the tree. "Uh... would someone like to help me?" he asked sheepishly. His friends replied, "Not so smart now, Super-Show-Off! It seems you're not all-powerful like you say!" To teach him a lesson, his friends left him in the tree for the entire recess. Malo watched them play and laugh from above and realized something... His friends finally came to help him down the tree, and Malo apologized to them for showing off so much! That day, he decided to use his talents differently, by encouraging and helping his friends progress rather than proclaiming himself champion at every turn! And so, Super-Skull became… Super-Buddy!
