Once upon a time, there were three little pigs: Nif Nif, Naf Naf, and Nouf Nouf. They were kind, loved to take their time, and of course, were always late! No matter what they did, something always happened that prevented them from arriving on time. One day, their mother said to them, "It's time to build your houses before the big bad wolf arrives!" Nif Nif, the fastest of the three, decided to build a house out of straw. But no sooner had he started than his hat fell into a puddle. He hurried to dry it, and tired of the little work he had already done, he fell asleep in his garden. As a result, his house was far from being finished on time! Naf Naf, the second pig, chose to build a wooden house. Everything was going well, until he realized he had forgotten to put in some screws. He rushed to buy some, but, of course, he took a detour to greet his friends, eat a slice of cake, and... suddenly, it was already late. His house was also far from finished. As for Nouf Nouf, the quietest of the three, he decided to build a brick house. But in the morning, he felt extremely tired after only making a cup of tea... A nap was in order! So he fell asleep in his armchair while waiting for the tea to be ready... and the day had evaporated. When he woke up, he hadn't even started to lay the first brick! When evening came, the big bad wolf, who was also always on time, arrived with an ogre's appetite. He first went to Nif Nif's straw house, but it wasn't even finished. The wolf raised an eyebrow: "Nif Nif, what are you doing?" Nif Nif rubbed his eyes, a little ashamed: "I... I'm late!" The wolf sighed and walked away towards Naf Naf's wooden house. But there, too, was no one there. Naf Naf was tasting a cupcake at the neighbor's house. "Well, you'll really have to explain to me how you manage to be so late!" grumbled the wolf. Finally, the wolf headed towards Nouf Nouf's brick house. But there, surprise, the door was wide open and the wolf saw the third little pig dancing in his living room. "You're not late, are you!" said the wolf, astonished. Nouf Nouf shrugged: "I've learned that sometimes you have to accept being a little late to enjoy life." And so the wolf, a little annoyed but inspired by the pigs' tranquility, went to take a nap in the woods too. The three pigs decided they would always be an hour late, just to enjoy a little more peace and quiet and cake before emergencies arrived. And from that day on, they lived at their own pace, late, but happy. As for the wolf, he never dared to disturb them again. After all, who could disturb someone who takes their time to live?
