Once upon a time, there was a wolf named Loupiau, who had a rather peculiar passion for a wolf: he loved the sea. It fascinated him!
The horizon it offered to infinity, its moods sometimes calm and sometimes turbulent. (sound of waves) The sea was for Loupiau an unknown playground that he dreamed of discovering. While his wolf friends howled at the moon (wolf cry) and ran through the forest, Loupiau dreamed of sails and wide horizons.
One day, after falling asleep by the river, he woke up to find a small raft floating next to him! Loupiau, surprised but excited at the idea of going on an adventure, climbed onto the raft and began paddling with his front paws. He wasn't sure where he was going or how to do it, but he already thought he was a real sea wolf.
Sailing along the coast, he eventually found an abandoned boat that must have been looted by pirates but seemed in good condition. Excited, Loupiau jumped aboard! With a captain's hat he found in a trunk, the wolf immediately proclaimed himself Captain Loupiau! His beginnings as Captain were laborious, but he quickly learned the basics of navigation: he blew with all his might on the sails to turn, he scratched the prow to sound the depth (an unreliable method), and used his tail as an emergency rudder. The curious fish and seagulls followed him in procession, like a real sea crew. And that's how, from wave to wave, Loupiau became famous. He was the only wolf to conquer the seas, with his sailor's hat and his coat always full of salt!
