Iceland has no fewer than 200 craters, including 130 active volcanoes. If Grímsvötn, Hekla or Krafla erupt regularly, it is Eyjafjallajökull which is best known in France. Firstly because in 2010 its ash clouds prevented planes from flying for several days but also because pronouncing its name is a challenge!
